Jeff Frankel serves as President of CPI. With more than two decades’ experience in corporate business development, he has worked with industry-leading firms including docSTAR, Authentidate Holding Corp, Trac Medical Solutions, Health Focus of NY, EFS Healthcare Group and Ernst & Young and offers innovative perspectives on streamlining business for improved efficiency and productivity.
A born and bred New Yorker, Jeff earned an MBA from Union College in Health Systems Administration, and his BS in Marketing at SUNY at Buffalo.
When he’s not creating positive customer experiences, Jeff likes to golf and ski with his wife Lisa and their three boys. An aficionado of single malt scotch, he is careful not to mix that indulgence with his passion for classic Mustangs.
Professional Services Manager
We welcomed Matt in October of 2018. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Information Technology and a concentration in MIS. Matt brings 10+ years of MSP/Professional Services IT experience to CPI with a wide array of experience ranging from account/sales management, support center, and professional services management expertise. His hobbies include cycling, dabbling in web coding, and spicy foods. He has nothing against Apple, but is an Android user. He is very excited to be joining the CPI team!
Thomas J. Marcotte
Director of Technical Business Development
Tom is strategically involved in monitoring trends and selecting technologies that compliment our engineering capabilities. Tom works with the Sales and Engineering teams to provide our customers with effective and reliable solutions to address their business initiatives. Tom has been with CPI for 20 years and holds a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems from Marist College.
Support Center Manager
Tim joined CPI in July 1999 and served our customers as a Sr. Systems Engineer for 10+ years, but now, after a brief hiatus has returned to manage our Customer Support Center. His decades of Professional Services experience, exceptional documentation ability and enthusiasm for building relationships combined with an entire team of consummate support professionals guarantees CPI will go the extra mile for our customers. While not at work he and his wife of 20+ years enjoy volunteering in the community and traveling internationally. Some of their favorite destinations have been Norway, Sweden, France and Germany. Ireland and Italy are still on their list.
Human Resources Manager
Alana Koch joined CPI in January of 1997. Alana has over 21 years of experience across all of CPI’s internal disciplines ranging from Administration, End-User Services, Marketing, Accounting and Human Resources. Her broad HR experience includes benefits, employee relations, payroll, talent acquisition and management. She is an excellent cook… and has yet to lose a CPI Iron Chef competition!
Alana holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and a SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Capital Region Human Resources Association (CRHRA).
Customer Support Team Lead
As CPI’s Customer Support Team Lead, Amanda is responsible for effectively running the Support Desk function and project coordination for the Professionals Services team. Amanda works with all departments for seamless collaboration on services sales and delivery. Amanda has been with CPI for 2 years and holds an A.S. in Business Administration and Management from SUNY Schenectady Community College.
